Review: From the trailer, I had high expectations of this film will give you a smashing event with lots of humor and a unique premise. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one case where the trailer is better than the movie itself.To fair, this film has its moments. Comedy has never made me laugh instantly, but there is a line of fun and situation through. Some of the funniest moments arise from the interaction between the characters, and clever gag where everyone considers different people. Regarding the action goes, it's quite a bit of mass destruction and various shootings and fights. However, very manic, over-the-top and weird cartoons. General tone really feel uneven, the film was quite serious sometimes deadlocked on others, and to exaggerate the rest of the time. I was never bored, but I never fully committed or invested in things.It is a shame, because this movie has some unique ideas here and there. The general principle of undead police very neat, they use a lot of cool weapons, and they have a very original rules and ideas. It is a strange world where Indian food cause evil dead bone to reveal colorful monsters (if you remember the beginning of Van Helsing, Mr. Hyde to ..., almost all monsters like that, maybe crossed with zombies from I Am Legend). All people feel the two main characters as hot blondes and ancient Chinese style. Sounds fun, does not it? For some reason, it all comes off as unnecessary effort to build a comedy to be funny, he worked for two men in black film, but falls flat in the history RIPD.The more generally pretty fast and compact. For cartoon inspired enforcers tackle supernatural story without public accomplice, three men in black movie RIPD succeed in everything trying to do, but failed. And even the climax, threatening death to rise up and end the world, I can not help but remember how much better Ghostbusters in this area. RIPD gag even a short staircase that reminds me of GB.
