The Great Gatsby 2013 torrent

Review: I watched this movie with some gentle curiosity. It was extremely excessive and exaggerated, as expected from the production of Baz Luhrmann. Leonardo DiCaprio made his own Gatsby (Old SPOR!), While maintaining a sense of familiarity. The script was faithful adaptation, and even helped me to understand more clearly some novels. And although I think Yad hearing under dubstep century jazz will be sharp, the soundtrack worked very well. But I could not love him. And it (mostly) You Maguires fault.Gatsby loomed so large in the original story that it's not hard to forget about Nice. But it can be argued, and it often happens that it was Nick and NOT Gatsby, who was the protagonist of the novel. Fitgeralds story told from the Knicks first-person point of view, it is only as good as the Knicks narrative; Gatsby was just so great because Nick treat it that way.Unfortunately, Maguire fell completely flat in the role of narrative management. There was always so much else going on, and so many dreams Luhrmanns absorb that Maguire seemed to get lost in it. And? with him? so did the audience. Without a strong presence from Maguire, Nick was demoted from the role of interpreter of events in just another character (and not a big one at that). Luhrmann tried to keep Nicks narrative frame by having him tell the story? first as a patient, speaking to your doctor at the sanatorium, then as a writer, trying to explain her grief through prose. But these scenes came across (at best), how tough or intelligent (at worst) as Maguires inspiration to take an abbreviated version of the audiobook The Great Gatsby.I wanted to love this movie. I really did. It was so many wonderful qualities. But without Nick (only you) to help understand the people and events that angry, and half in love with {it}, and extremely sorry, I turned away.
